Krysta Rodriguez, an OCSA alumna (Class of 2002) who played 'Bebe' in the Broadway revival of A CHORUS LINE, will return to The Orange County School of the Arts to guest direct A CHORUS LINE, running October 16-19, 2014.

GERALD W. LYNCH THEATER at John Jay College presents We Are the Music, a free performance performed by Chloe Arnold's Syncopated Ladies on Friday, November 7 at 8pm at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College, 524 W. 59th Street, NYC. Tickets are free but reservations are required: www.jjay.cuny.edu/Theater. Westport Country Playhouse will present a community engagement initiative, 'Threads of Time, Fabric of History: 'Intimate Apparel' in Context,' September 27 through November 1. The series of events, many of which are free-of-charge, will run concurrently with the Playhouse's production of Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage's play, 'Intimate Apparel,' directed by Mary B. Robinson, a love story confronting race and religion. The play won the American Theatre Critics and New York Drama Critics' Circle Awards for Best Play.

The stage unit of Iron Violet Productions, Iron Violet Stage, in association with Denman Turner Entertainment Group, will present a staged reading of 'Birthday Pie', written by best-selling author, and playwright, Arthur Wooten on September 29th, 2014, at 7:30 PM. The performance will be held on the renovated stage at the historic Irvington Town Hall Theater, in Irvington, New York -- thirty minutes from Manhattan, by train. There will be a 'talk-back' with the author, and producer(s).

The 11th season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE came to a thrilling conclusion tonight when Ricky Ubeda was named the winner during the live two-hour Season Finale on FOX.

Whoooooooa, this is it! All of the voters have voted, the competitive dances have been danced, the, 'Shut your face's have been shut your faced; tonight was SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE's 11th season finale. And though, as in the last two years, we had four dancers still standing at the beginning of the night, for the first time since 2011, there was only one winner announced. Gone are the days of not having to choose between our favorite male and female dancers; this time, only one gets to take home the title of 'America's Favorite Dancer.'

The casting is completed for the reading of 'Birthday Pie', the award winning 'dramedy', based on the, highly-acclaimed novel of the same title.

Last night Zack Everhart, Jessica Richens, Valerie Rockey and Ricky Ubeda, the Top Four on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, brought the competition to a new level as they each performed three routines plus a solo number, in the hopes of walking away with the coveted title of America's Favorite Dancer!
