The critically acclaimed Blue Man Group is proud to announce that Deb Styer has been named as the company's new Production Stage Manager. Styer joins Blue Man Group with more than 10 years of experience in stage management including the Tony-award-winning "August: Osage County" on Broadway in London's West End, New York and Australia. Most recently, Styer served as a stage manager for Lookingglass Theatre Company's "Moby Dick" and Steppenwolf Theatre Company's "Marie Antoinette."

Due to popular demand, Steppenwolf for Young Adults (SYA) extends the critically acclaimed production of George Orwell's 1984, adapted by Andrew White and directed by SYA Artistic and Educational Director Hallie Gordon. Hailed as "highly recommended…chilling, hard-hitting" (Chicago Sun-Times) and "a skillful blend of grimy proletariat despair and slick multimedia collage" (Chicago Tribune), 1984 adds three additional public performances, extending the run through November 21, 2015 in Steppenwolf's Upstairs Theatre with the original cast. Steppenwolf for Young Adults (SYA) is pleased to announce casting for the first production of its 2015/16 season, George Orwell's 1984, adapted by Andrew White and directed by SYA Artistic and Educational Director Hallie Gordon. Gordon, who directed last season's sold-out production of Animal Farm, brings Orwell's dystopian masterpiece to the stage in a cutting edge, multi-media production with projection design by Joseph A. Burke and photography direction by Joel Moorman.

Due to ticket demand, Lookingglass Theatre Company has added three weeks of performances to the World Premiere of Moby Dick, adapted and directed by ensemble member David Catlin from the book by Herman Melville, produced in association with The Actors Gymnasium. Moby Dick, which was originally scheduled through August 9, is now running June 10 - August 28, 2015 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.  The Press Opening is Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

The cast features ensemble members Alana Arenas as Marie Antoinette, Tim Hopper as her husband Louis XVI and Alan Wilder as Sheep.
