Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), and FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) today announced that Dean Winters ('Divorce,' John Wick), Devery Jacobs ('Cardinal,' 'The Order') and Kahyun Kim ('Shameless,' Freaky Friday) have been cast as Mr. Town, Sam Black Crow and New Media, respectively, in the sophomore season of the critically-acclaimed STARZ Original series 'American Gods.'
YouTube Orders Action Comedy Series WAYNE Produced by Deadpool Writers

YouTube today announced a pilot to series order for the action comedy WAYNE. In this gritty and sometimes bloody tale, fifteen year-old Wayne sets out on a dirt bike with his new crush Del to take back the 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was stolen from his father before he died. It is Wayne and Del against the world. WAYNE will star Mark McKenna (“Sing Street,” “Kat and Alfie: Redwater”) as “Wayne” and Ciara Bravo (“Big Time Rush,” “Red Band Society”) as “Del.” Joshua J. Williams (“Mudbound”) will also recur as “Orlando”. Pilot guest stars also include Dean Winters and Mike O'Malley. The 10 episode series is set to debut on YouTube Red in 2018.

Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment Commissioner Julie Menin today announced the launch of “New York in 25,” a year-long public awareness campaign promoting NYC Life, the City's official television channel, which appears as channel 25 on most cable providers, and channel 25.1 over the air. The print, digital, and broadcast campaign features prominent New Yorkers describing the reasons why they love New York City – in exactly 25 words.

On Monday, January 29, Fontana's Screenplay By Stalin following two writers commissioned by Stalin to write of his biopic will be read. Pretending to Be Danish, Manis's collection of short plays about performing Shakespeare (directed by Richard Hamburger), will be read on Monday, February 12. Zeljko Ivanek will be joining the cast of the first Monday night reading on Jan 29.
