Rita McKenzie, one of Broadway, Hollywood and television's most versatile actresses, returns to Southern California in her internationally acclaimed tour de force show, ETHEL MERMAN'S BROADWAY, which re-creates the life and times of Ethel Merman, the Queen of Broadway's Golden Age.

On the heels of the successful debut of VERGE -- Planet Green's all-new primetime programming destination for conscious living featuring great, inspiring characters and storytelling -- the network unveiled the 2010-11 upfront slate full of all-new series, specials and returning favorites.

This event will feature a Live introduction by the original cast, including Daniel Reichart, Larry Raben, Stan Chandler, David Engle, Stuart Ross and under the musical direction of David Snyder will be followed by a pre-taped performance of the musical, ?Forever Plaid?. The night will conclude with a Live ?bouncing ball? sing-a-long with the cast and theatre audiences. This event will be entertaining for people of all ages - One night only ? Thursday, July 9th.

Neither Nor Music announces the February 14th release of WHERE IS LOVE..., the debut solo recording of New York City-based actor/singer Ron DeStefano. This full-length studio album, produced by David Snyder (Tony Award winner CHRISTINE EBERSOLE: LIVE AT THE CINEGRILL; The Manhattan Transfer's ALAN PAUL: ANOTHER PLACE AND TIME), weaves fourteen songs together from the worlds of theatre, jazz, pop, and cabaret to create an emotional narrative exploring the joys and challenges of romance. With lush, orchestral arrangements featuring live strings, brass, woodwinds, guitar, percussion and piano, WHERE IS LOVE... employs standards (Rodgers and Hart's 'My Romance,' Kern and Hammerstein's 'All the Things You Are'), pieces from contemporary writers (Jeff Blumenkrantz's 'Hold My Hand,' John Bucchino's 'Unexpressed'), and familiar pop songs (Michael Bubl?'s 'Everything,' Bacharach and David's 'I'll Never Fall In Love Again') as musical chapters in the 'story of love' - yearning, hoping, having, losing and healing. On June 11th, 2008 COMPOSE YOURSELF! began at the York Theatre Company The music is by Larry Grossman with lyrics by Hal Hackady, Ellen Fitzhugh, Betty Comden & Adolph Green, Buz Kohan, Carol Hall, Fred Ebb,Amanda Green, Drey Shepperd and Michael Korie. The cast boasts Nikki Renee Daniels (Les Misérables), Darius de Haas (Rent), Jason Graae (A Grand Night for Singing), Tony Nomimee Liz Larsen (Hairspray, The Most Happy Fella), Lorna Luft (Guys and Dolls) and Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera). Stuart Ross (Forever Plaid creator) directs the production with music direction by David Snyder. Award-winning composer Grossman is featured at the piano.

The York Theatre Company announces rehearsals have begun for its New2NY series, which will present staged concerts of musicals in their NYC premieres.

Select performances of Catherine Filloux's Killing The Boss - a new dark comedy about an altruistic woman's unexpected transformation into a vigilante, opening February 12 at The Studio at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) - will be followed by talkbacks.
