Ghostlight Records will preserve the Lincoln Center Theater production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical with a new Broadway cast recording to be released later this season. The new two disc-set will mark the first time the landmark show has been recorded in its entirety.

Just announced, Second Stage Theatre's New York Premiere production of NOTES FROM THE FIELD: DOING TIME IN EDUCATION, the latest work created, written and performed by groundbreaking theatre artist Anna Deavere Smith with music composed and performed by Marcus Shelby and directed by Leonard Foglia, will open on November 2, 2016 at the Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street). Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director, Casey Reitz, Executive Director) has announced that Tony Award winner Reed Birney (The Humans) will star in the leading role of Ken Carpenter in the upcoming New York premiere production of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy Lett's 2003 play, MAN FROM NEBRASKA, directed by David Cromer. Mr. Birney has previously appeared in three Second Stage productions - The Family of Mann, Loose Knit, and Winterplay.

Kinky Boots, now in its second year and the winner of every major Best Musical award, today announces the opening of a new booking period, with tickets now available until Saturday 6 May 2017. Tickets for this extended period will go on sale from Friday 9 September 2016, the day after the production celebrates its first birthday in the West End.

The production, directed by James Lapine, begins previews Thursday, September 29 and opens Thursday, October 27.

As previously announced, Maria Dizzia assumes the role of Shellie in the world premiere production of THE LAYOVER, written by Leslye Headland and directed by Trip Cullman, today, September 6. She returns to Second Stage Theatre after her acclaimed performance in the title role of Eurydice, during the company's 28th season.

Aaron C. Finley, Shannon O'Boyle and Haven Burton joined the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots earlier this summer in the roles of Charlie Price, Nicola and Lauren, respectively. Block and Tracie Thoms, smiling and ready to tell a million stories.
