SYLVIA, a play by two-time Pulitzer Prize-nominee A.R. Gurney (The Dining Room, Love Letters) and directed by Tony Award-winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof) begins a limited Broadway engagement tonight, October 2, 2015. Opening night is set for Tuesday, October 27, 2015.

Presented by Performing Arts Fort Worth, Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), will play at Bass Performance Hall Oct. 27-Nov. 1. The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust today announced that playwrights Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and Dominique Morisseau will be honored at the 2015 Steinberg Playwright Awards on Monday, November 16, 2015. Scenes highlighting their work will be performed at the 8th Annual 'Mimi' Awards, which will take place at Lincoln Center Theater.

SYLVIA, Broadway's most captivating canine, will be celebrating NATIONAL DOG WEEK with a box office giveaway that both dogs and their human companions can enjoy. Free Sylvia goodies -- including a Sylvia t-shirt, a pop-up drinking bowl, and a product from petsmile -- will be distributed at the box office of the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48th Street) from Monday, September 21 through Saturday, September 26 (10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. daily) with the purchase of a full-price ticket (Orchestra and Mezzanine seats only).

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) announced Zachary Levi (Georg) will star alongside Laura Benanti (Amalia), Rene? Auberjonois (Maraczek), Gavin Creel (Kodaly), Michael McGrath (Sipos) and Jane Krakowski (Ilona) in a new Broadway production of SHE LOVES ME, directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Warren Carlyle with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. This classic musical comedy features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock.

The box office of the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48th Street) went to dogs on Friday, August 28, 2015, when it opened for business for A.R. Gurney's comedy Sylvia. In celebration of Sylvia coming to Broadway for the first time since its MTC debut in 1995, patrons who went to the box office between 10am-12pm EST were able to purchase tickets for preview performances for only $19.95 each.
