2012 Great Gay Play and Musical Contest Winner 'At The Flash' will run tonight, November 16 to December 16, 2012, at Center on Halsted's Hoover-Leppen Theatre, presented by Pride Films and Plays.

The Flea Theater presents the World Premiere of THE VANDAL by Hamish Linklater. The play will star Holly Hunter, Zach Grenier and Noah Robbins, with direction by Jim Simpson, The Flea's founder and Artistic Director. This limited Off-Broadway engagement begins previews January 18 with opening slated for January 31.

Opera San Jose continues its 29th season with Giuseppe Verdi's powerful drama, Il trovatore. Eight performances are scheduled from February 9 through 24 at the California Theatre, 345 South First Street in downtown San Jose.

Batman, producers of GAYFEST NYC, Inc., the country's premier arts organization devoted to the discovery, development and production of new LGBT-themed plays, have announced their Annual Gala, "Fall For Harvey Milk," benefitting the students of Harvey Milk High School, to be held Monday evening tonight, October 22, 2012 at Robert Restaurant (2 Columbus Circle, 9th Floor). Lily Tomlin is the Event Chair. The evening's activities will feature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, celebrity entertainment, a live auction and a raffle beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Two River Theater Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, announces updated information about its 2013 season. Arizona Theatre Company's "Lombardi" centers on the iconic Green Bay Packers coach during a pivotal week in 1965. This Southwest premiere production of the Broadway hit plays at the Temple of Music and Art and runs from October 20 - November 10, 2012. Pride Films and Plays is accepting entries into the Great Gay Play and Musical Contest now through October 22, 2012. Each of the five finalists will receive $400, and their scripts will be performed as 'enhanced staged readings' during Gay Play Weekend at Center on Halsted, Chicago, in spring 2013.
