Single tickets for Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! are now on sale online at www.TheOldGlobe.org. The annual holiday musical, directed by James Vasquez with book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin, will run on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, November 17 - December 29. Previews run from Nov. 17 - Nov. 23. Opening night is Nov. 23 at 7:00 p.m. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the show below.

Rob Marshall began his career with Roundabout working on celebrated musicals such as She Loves Me, Company, Little Me and the Tony Award®-winning Cabaret. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is a wonderful, whimsical musical based upon the classic Dr. Seuss book. Back for its 14th incredible year, the family favorite features the songs 'Santa for a Day,' 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch' and 'Welcome, Christmas (Fah Who Doraze),' the delightful carol from the popular animated version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

BWW had the chance to meet with Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams, critically acclaimed actor and filmmaker Kenneth Branagh and the film's director, Simon Curtis about this behind-the-scenes glimpse into the life of iconic movie star Marilyn Monroe.

Name your musical The Road To Qatar! and in less than five words and an exclamation point you've communicated to your audience what to expect; a zany, lightweight, tuneful fish-out-of-water comedy set in an exotic locale featuring a Bob Hope/Bing Crosby-ish pair with a healthy dose of sex and romance provided by a Dorothy Lamour-ish babe.  And for a good deal of their pocket-sized ninety-minute musical, Stephen Cole (book and lyrics) and David Krane (music) deliver as promised.  At its best, The Road To Qatar! is a funny, breezy musical comedy hoot with some legitimately toe-tapping melodies.  But while enjoyable, the material isn't quite memorable, though the current production at The York has the feel of an early version of something that could be whipped into a pretty terrific show.
