Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy, and are proud to announce that MOTOWN THE MUSICAL will play at the Ohio Theatre February 23-28, 2016. 

Votes are cast; polls are closed; and results have been tabulated! This was our biggest year yet! After a record number of voters in more than 70 regions worldwide, BroadwayWorld is very excited to announce the 2015 Washington, DC winners! Highlights include Ben Platt winning 'Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical' for DEAR EVAN HANSEN, Dan DeLuca as 'Best Actor in a Leading Role in a National Tour Production', and Lucie Arnaz for 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a National Tour.'  Thanks to all who voted, and huge congratulations to all the winners!

Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy are thrilled to announce that Broadway veteran Chester Gregory will join the First National Tour of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL in the leading role of Berry Gordy. Mr. Gregory's first performance will be tonight in Richmond, VA.

Lyric Opera of Chicago is excited to announce that Thirteen Productions LLC for WNET New York has selected the world-premiere production of Bel Canto – The Opera to be part of the prestigiousGreat Performances series on PBS. The WNET team will be in Chicago to film performances tonight, January 5, and January 8. Bel Canto will air nationally during the 2016/17 television season. 

As rehearsals begin for the West End production of Motown the Musical, full casting is announced  led by Cedric Neal as Berry Gordy, Lucy St. Louis as Diana Ross, Charl Brown as Smokey Robinson andSifiso Mazibuko as Marvin Gaye. Check out a sneak peek below!

WTF's Professional Training Program gives invaluable on-the-job learning opportunities for performers, directors, writers, designers, technicians and administrators.

Broadway's new smash-hit suspense thriller MISERY, starring two-time Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Bruce Willis and three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf, has announced a student rush policy for the strictly limited engagement at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W 44th Street).  A limited number of $35 tickets (inclusive of a $2 facility fee) will be available to students 25 years old and younger when the box office opens for that day's performance(s). Photo identification is required.  Patrons are limited to two tickets person.  Tickets are subject to availability.
