Finian's Rainbow to Open Oct. 29 at St. James Theatre; Norton, Baldwin, Cooper and Fitzgerald to Star

Producers David Richenthal and Jack Viertel have announced that the critically-acclaimed New York City Center Encores! production of Finian?s Rainbow, will transfer to Broadway's St. James Theatre, 246 West 44 Street, beginning Thursday, October 8 at 8pm, with an opening set for Thursday, October 29 at 6:45pm.

Executive Artistic Director Kristianne Kurner, originally slated to direct David Ives' SURE THING as part of New Village Arts' Summer Comedy Festival, has just accepted the role of Doctor Flora Whetstone in Moxie Theatre's upcoming DRINK ME, OR THE STRANGE TALE OF ALICE TIMES THREE. Taking over the role of director of SURE THING will be Mark Stephan.

PTC Announces 6/5 Auditions For Mark Twain's IS HE DEAD?

Auditions for the second show in Pioneer Theatre Company's 2009- 2010 Season, Is He Dead? will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2009 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. Noon to 1 p.m. is reserved for AEA (Equity) members only, but AEA members may sign up for any time slot. Callbacks will be the morning of Saturday, June 6th, 2009; the time will be announced. Auditions will be held in Room 245 at the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Auditioners will be required to read from the script.
