Christopher Fitzgerald is this year's recipient of the 2010 Drama Desk Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for FINIAN'S RAINBOW.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company's production of THE LIAR will end its run on May 23. The comedy, originally by Corneille, has been adapted by David Ives and played the Lansburgh Theatre.

Philadelphia Theatre Company concludes its 2009-2010 season with August Wilson's masterpiece and first Broadway success Ma Rainey's Black Bottom on May 21-June 13.

The national premiere of TRUE LOVE LIES will take the stage beginning May 21st at Atlanta's Horizon Theatre. The production will run through June 20th.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces the winning selections of the 2010 TRU Voices New Plays Reading Series. In a series that is unique because it develops new producers as well as new plays, three works were chosen from submissions by emerging or established producers, as well as from writers who hoped to be matched with a producer.

Classic Stage Company (CSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, has announced details for their upcoming 2010-11 season, the esteemed downtown theater company's 44th, which will include five Mainstage productions, as well as their popular Special Series.

Ruthie Henshall has extended for five additional weeks as Roxie Hart. She'll now play through Sunday, July 18 -- instead of June 13 as originally announced. Also, Terra C. MacLeod returns as Velma Kelly starting tonight May 10th.

Dog & Pony Theatre Company, in association with Chicago DCA Theater, presents the world premiere of DEAD LETTER OFFICE. The production, conceived by Ben Viccellio, written by Philip Dawkins, and directed by Dieterich Gray, comes to Chicago DCA's Storefront Theater at 66 E.
