The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust has announced that the 3rd Annual ‘Mimi' Awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center Theater (150 West 65th Street).

Frank Bayer, whose long career in theatre included stints as actor and stage manager on Broadway and as casting director and production supervisor at the Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles, died on September 22, 2010. He was born June 29, 1936, in Brazil, Indiana.

Zach Grenier will reprise his Tony Award-nominated role in '33 Variations' at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre, joining two-time Academy Award-winner Jane Fonda who stars in the compelling new play written and directed by Moisés Kaufman. The West Coast premiere of '33 Variations' will be presented January 30 through March 6, 2011. Opening is set for February 9. Both Grenier and Fonda will perform the roles they played in the 2009 Broadway run of '33 Variations.' The play was nominated for a total of five Tony Awards, including Best Actress for Fonda and Best Featured Actor for Grenier.

YALE SCHOOL OF DRAMA/YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Dean, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Deputy Dean, Managing Director) announce two events in connection with the 2010 YALE DRAMA SERIES, the annual playwriting competition jointly sponsored by Yale University Press and Yale Repertory Theatre and funded with generous support from the David C. Noël Coward's witty and provocative romantic comedy, Design For Living returns to the Londonstage for the first time in over 15 years. Directed by Anthony Page and starring Tom Burke, LisaDillon and Andrew Scott, Design for Living opens for previews on 3 September with a press night on15 September 2010.

Multi-faceted comedian and actor Eddie Izzard and multiple award-winning actress Frances Conroy will guest star on the SHOWTIME series UNITED STATES OF TARA. Izzard will appear in eight episodes and Conroy in one episode of the third season opposite Toni Collette, last year's Emmy(R) Award winner and this year's Emmy(R) nominee for her role as Tara Gregson, a wife and mother who struggles with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Izzard will play Tara's brilliant psychology professor who is at first a DID skeptic, but becomes fascinated with Tara as a subject, leading him to further explore the condition. Conroy will star as Max Gregson's (John Corbett) mother, a recluse with a compulsive hoarding problem. Production on season three begins mid-September in Los Angeles for a 2011 premiere.

Artistic Director Freddie Ashley announced the Actor's Express 2010-11 season today - a production lineup that includes two world premiere plays, two Atlanta premieres, a sweeping historical drama about Oscar Wilde and the addition of a holiday show - a first for the 23-year-old company.
