American Idol LIVE! will return to Detroit's Joe Louis Arena to launch the 2012 tour on Friday, July 6 at 7 p.m. The hit tour is the first chance to see this season's talented top 10 finalists in concert to include DeAndre Brackensick, Hollie Cavanagh, Colton Dixon, Heejun Han, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Elise Testone and Erika Van Pelt.

On next week's AMERICAN IDOL results show, global superstar and AMERICAN IDOL judge, Jennifer Lopez, will perform her hit new song 'Dance Again.' Season Seven AMERICAN IDOL winner David Cook also returns to the IDOL stage to perform 'The Last Song I'll Write For You.'

When Jim and Kay Thigpen announced at the beginning of their 27th Season that they would be officially retiring from Trustus Theatre - South Carolina's premiere professional theater which they co-founded in 1985 - the Trustus Board of Directors instantly formed a committee to fill their positions. Contestant Baylie Brown made a return visit to Fox's AMERICAN IDOL audition round last night. The singer first appeared on the show for Season 6 in 2007 where she made it to the Hollywood week but was then sent home. This year, Brown's version of 'Bed of Roses' wowed the judges and sent her on to the next round of competition!
