E! News to Air Backstage Feature on Broadway's CINDERELLA Tonight

A behind-the-scenes feature on the Broadway musical Cinderella -- now at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd St.) -- will be telecast on E! News tonight, April 26 at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Members of the Cinderella cast and creative team are featured in the segment with E! correspondent Alicia Quarles.
NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT to Close on Broadway on June 15; National Tour to Launch in 2014-15

The producers of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT have announced that the Broadway production will play its final performance on Saturday, June 15, 2013after 27 previews and 478 regular performances at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). The production began performances on March 29, 2012 and opened on Apr 24, 2012. A national tour will be launched in the 2014-2015 season.

Last night, April 16, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella welcomed its first international wedding proposal. Right after last night's performance, Johanna Paluch and Alejandro Aufgang, both from Buenos Aires, Argentina, joined the cast on stage for a magical Broadway-style engagement. Check it out below!

THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM, which opened last night on Broadway, is directed by Steven Van Zandt and Marc Brickman. With music byFelix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati, The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream has stage, video and lighting design by Brickman and has music production and is written by legendary guitarist Van Zandt. Performances begin Monday, April 15th atBroadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street), and will play through Sunday, May 5th. Opening night is set for Tuesday, April 16th.

The producers of the hit musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT have just announced that Tony Award nominee Jessie Mueller, John Treacy Egan and Conrad John Schuck will join the production on Friday, March 29th in the roles of Billie Bendix, Chief Berry and Senator Max Evergreen (respectively). Kelli O'Hara, Stanley Wayne Mathis and Terry Beaver played their final performance on Sunday, March 24th.

Hidden secrets are unearthed and family tensions fly high in Pulitzer Prize nominee Jon Robin Baitz's contemporary family drama Other Desert Cities. Helen Hayes Award winner and former Arena Stage Associate Artistic Director Kyle Donnelly returns to direct the D.C.-area premiere of the show with a cast that features Tony Award nominee and two-time Helen Hayes Award winner Helen Carey (Mary Tyrone in Arena Stage's Long Day's Journey into Night, Broadway's Hedda Gabler) as matriarch Polly Wyeth and two-time Tony Award nominee Larry Bryggman (Broadway's Harvey, CBS's As the World Turns) as patriarch Lyman Wyeth. Rounding out the cast are Emily Donahoe (Broadway's 33 Variations) as daughter Brooke Wyeth, Scott Drummond (Cherry Lane Theatre's A Perfect Future) as son Trip Wyeth and Martha Hackett (Pacific Resident Theatre's Nora) as their aunt Silda Grauman. Other Desert Cities runs April 26-May 26, 2013 in the Fichandler Stage.
