Montego Glover, Tony nominated for her performance in MEMPHIS, will perform at the Ford's Theatre Society annual gala titled 'America Celebrates July 4th at Ford's Theatre.' The program will be filmed Sunday, June 6, in Washington, DC; portions of the gala will air on Friday, July 2nd on ABC (9pm - 10pm ET).

MEMPHIS, winner of the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Outstanding New Musical Award, celebrates its 250th performance on Tuesday, May 25th at 7pm at the Shubert Theatre. As a thank you to all the MEMPHIS fans, everyone in the audience will receive a MEMPHIS Cast Recording CD sampler with 5 songs from the show. Co-Hosted by Vanessa Williams and Michael Urie, the 76th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon was held on Friday, May 21, 2010 in the Broadway Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel.

New Dramatists, Tony Honor recipient and one of the nation's premiere playwright development workshop, honored two-time Tony Award winner Julie Taymor with their 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award at its 61st Annual Spring Luncheon tribute, to be held Tuesday, May 18th at the New York Marriott Marquis. Ms. Taymor's award was presented to her by Academy Award winning actress Helen Mirren, who stars in Taymor's soon-to-be-released film adaptation of Shakespeare's The Tempest. Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatricals served as the Luncheon Chair. Disney Theatricals and Robert Boyett were the benefactors for New Dramatists 61st Annual Spring Luncheon.
