Today, Ryan Conway announces the launch of ARCHITECT THEATRICAL, a full service Broadway and Off-Broadway theatrical general management and production company.

The Producer's Perspective PRO Reading Series, which is produced in part by Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, is proud to announce their second presentation, which will be an invited reading of Ocean in a Teacup on Monday, June 24th at 3pm at Sunlight Studios (321 W 44th Street).

The Producer's Perspective PRO Reading Series, which is produced in part by Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, is kicking off their first quarterly reading with a presentation of Hello Kitty Must Die on Monday, March 18th at 4pm at Ripley Grier, Studio 312 (305 W. 38th Street New York, NY 10018).

BroadwayWorld has learned that the Davenport Theatre (354 W 45th St.) has closed to doors for good. Davenport Theatrical Enterprises acquired the Davenport Theatre in 2014, converting a firehouse to a 127-seat main stage theatre and 99-seat loft space. Ken Davenport writes in a recent blog post:

Kathy Evans, Founding Executive Director of Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, announced the 17 writers and 8 new musicals selected for the fifth summer of weeklong retreats. For eight consecutive weeks beginning July 5th, each writing team will have a residency in Rhinebeck, New York. Writers are provided a private home, transportation, food, and a $400 stipend. The winner will be determined by a panel of industry judges and popular audience vote. Industry judges include Tony Award winning Producer Ken Davenport (Kinky Boots, Godspell), casting director Cesar Rocha (C.S.A, Telsey + Company), composer/lyricist Georgia Stitt (This Ordinary Today), and acclaimed NYC voice teacher Robert Sussuma; rock audition guru Sheri Sanders (Rock The Audition) will host the evening.

The cast of Gerard Alessandrini's FORBIDDEN BROADWAY COMES OUT SWINGING! records the original cast CD for DRG Records today at Avatar Studios. Produced by Hugh Fordin, the release date is soon to be announced. This CD marks Forbidden Broadway's 12th cast recording with DRG Records.
