Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, brought GHOST to Broadway earlier this year after writing a score for the stage adaptation with Glenn Ballard. Now, he's playing with the idea of bringing some of his most popular tunes to a stage musical. He told Reuters: 'Annie [Lennox] and I wrote so many songs together, and they keep popping up in different places, and I have this idea of putting them all together in a theatrical piece in the not too distant future.'

According to the Herald Sun, GHOST, which was to make its Australian premiere at Her Majesty's Theatre in August 2013, has been postponed due to poor advance sales. Producer Louise Withers told HS: 'It's always disappointing when there is a postponement like this but it's a very complicated business. Initially we thought we would be able to use the UK set but it will take too long to transport it in Australia where the market has to be reduced, based on the shorter seasons the show has had in the UK and the US.'

Following her acclaimed performance alongside Annie Lennox at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert in June, blues rock guitarist and singer/songwriter, Joanne Shaw Taylor, will release her new studio album "Almost Always Never" on Monday September 17th, a nationwide UK tour will follow in October, with very special guest Tristan Mackay.

Ghost The Musical will play its final performance on Broadway tonight, August 18th at 8pm, after 39 previews and 136 regular performances. Ghost The Musical opened on April 23, 2012, at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, having begun previews on March 15th. The producers of Ghost The Musical announced today that the show will play its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, August 18th at 8pm after 39 previews and 136 regular performances. Ghost The Musical opened on April 23, 2012 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), having begun previews on March 15th.
