On Friday, June 3rd and Tuesday, June 7th at 7pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, 2015 double MAC (Best Male Vocalist, LaMott/Friedman Recording) and Bistro (Outstanding Recording) Award winner Stearns Matthews will team up with pianists/composers/arrangers and twin brothers Adam and Matt Podd for "ME AND THE GERSHTWINS", a musical romp through the songs of two other uber-talented brothers: George and Ira Gershwin.

Second Stage Theatre, in association with Stacey MindichProductions, just last night opened the new musical, Dear Evan Hansen, featuring Ben Platt as the title character. Also reprising their performances from the 'splendid (Marks, Washington Post) DC cast are Laura Dreyfuss as Zoe, Mike Faist as Connor, Rachel Bay Jones as Heidi, Will Roland as Jared, Jennifer Laura Thompson as Cynthia. New cast members John Dossett (Larry) and Kristolyn Lloyd (Alana) complete the company.

This spring, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, will open in Stockholm with Swedish singer Ola Salo (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR) in the lead role. It will be a different, punk and expressive set that leaves no one unaffected. Magnus Skogsberg and Pia Gradvall has made new Swedish translation of the material, the director is Hugo Hansen and musical manager Kristofer Nergardh.
