The Broadway Boys will once again host Broadway's favorite holiday party and concert with the 8th Annual BROADWAY SINGS FOR TOYS: A Benefit for Toys for Tots, Monday Dec 16th at 7pm. The annual concert is a cocktail party/concert/toy drive that gathers Broadways hottest talent for a dynamic and inspirational concert sure to brighten your spirits!

Daniel Torres (EVITA), Gabe Violett (SPRING AWAKENING), Travis Morin (ROCK OF AGES), John Dias (JERSEY BOYS), Zal Owen (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF), and Brad Greer (ALTAR BOYZ) have been announced as performers in the upcoming Broadway Boys Holiday tour.

Direct from sold-out performances in Asia, producer and director Mirwan Suwarso announced today that Hanoman The Musical will make its U.S. premiere at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts for three performances only. Inspired by the epic tale of Ramayana, Hanoman The Musical tells the story of the origin of one of the fiercest warriors in ancient Asian mythology. Hanoman The Musical runs tonight, June 25 thru Thursday, June 27, 2013 at San Jose Center for the Performing Arts in downtown San Jose (255 Almaden Boulevard). Due to unforeseen circumstances, Hanoman The Musical will not be performing at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts on the originally scheduled dates of June 25-27, 2013.

On Tuesday, January 22nd, members of the Broadway company of Evita joined forces with Sing For Your Seniors to bring a very special performance to the seniors at Village Adult Day Health Center. The musical performance, hosted by Sing For Your Seniors' Executive Director Jackie Vanderbeck, included songs of the performers' choosing as well of songs from Evita. At that time, it was announced as well that the should would be announcing new stars and the production would be continuing its run. Now, they have revealed that the show will play its final performance on Saturday, January 26, 2013, after 26 previews and 337 regular performances.

This record-breaking, Tony-nominated production of Tim Rice's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark musical will continue its open-ended run following the original stars' departure. The new stars will be announced at a later date.

EVITA has just cancelled its 2 p.m. performance for tomorrow, Wednesday, October 31, due to Hurricane Sandy.

As BroadwayWorld first reported, a reading is currently taking place for SOAP DISH THE MUSICAL, directed by Rob Ashford, with a book by Robert Harling, music by George Stiles and Lyrics by Anthony Drewe. The cast of includes Kristin Chenoweth, John Stamos, Jane Krakowski, Cristin Milioti, Anne L. Nathan, Michael Park, Miriam Shor and Daniel Torres. At this time there has been no formal announcement, or set timetable for the show. The reading is being presented by Laurence Mark, Donald De Line and Broadway Across America.
