Today Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein announced his plans for the upcoming season: "I am thrilled to present Keen's 16th season. This season, we will present two very different plays in uniquely different styles, each of which makes us contemplate fundamental questions about identity. In the fall, I will direct Giles Havergal's wonderfully theatrical adaptation of Graham Greene 's comedic novel Travels With My Aunt and I am thrilled to welcome back Thomas Jay Ryan, with whom I collaborated with on The Temperamentals, as well as Daniel Jenkins, a Keen alum I have always wanted to work with. Actors Theatre of Louisville's Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein announce casting for For Peter Pan on her 70th birthday by acclaimed playwright Sarah Ruhl. Multi award-winning actress Kathleen Chalfant, known for her performance in Wit Off-Broadway, the Broadway productions of M. Butterfly, Angels in America and Racing Demon, and screen credits The Affair and House of Cards, will lead a stellar cast of actors that features an array of Broadway veterans, many making their debuts at Actors Theatre. For Peter Pan on her 70th birthday was commissioned by Actors Theatre of Louisville and will receive its world premiere during the 40th Humana Festival of New American Plays, March 8- April 10, 2016. Tony nominee Daniel Jenkins originated the role of Huck in the original Broadway production of BIG RIVER and earned both a Tony and Drama Desk nomination for his portrayal. He also starred as Mark Twain/Voice of Huck in the critically acclaimed 2003 Deaf West Production of the musical, which is quickly becoming a classic. Now, he's ready to revisit the material that changed his life in the upcoming 54 SINGS BIG RIVER at Broadway's Supper Club, 54 Below. Joined by fellow original cast members Marin Mazzie and Jennifer Leigh Warren, as well as the 2003 revival's Michael McElroy.
