Now is the winter of our discontent, made glorious summer as Richard III comes to the stage in the second production in the 2016 Shakespeare in the Park season. Performances of the Shakespearean classic will run June 22-26 for the opening week and continue June 29-July 23 every Tuesday, Today and Sunday at the Samuell Grand Amphitheater, 1500 Tenison Parkway in Dallas.

Global finance and cultures collide in 'The Invisible Hand,' a topical thriller written by Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar, at Westport Country Playhouse, now through August 6. Vassar & New York Stage and Film just announced casting for the final weeks of the 32ndPowerhouse Season, running through July 31st at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Broadway's Lindsey Brett Carothers (Bring it On, WICKED (National Tour)) will premiere her new one-woman show, THE VOICE WITHIN, on August 7 at 9:30pm at The Duplex Cabaret Theater.  Written and performed by Carothers, the show is directed by Marshall Pailet with music direction by Andrea Grody. Drew Fornarola and Madame Mathieu Productions will produce.

Matthew Morrison has been nominated for a Tony Award for "Light in the Piazza" and Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for his starring role in the hit TV series "Glee." He will make his anticipated concert debut in the critically acclaimed Broadway @ Town Hall series, at Provincetown's Town Hall on Sunday, August 7 at 6:30 PM, with Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host. Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF is thrilled to present the internationally acclaimed American musical, West Side Story from September 7 - October 9, 2016 in the Margeson Theater. Judy Kuhn is currently starring in the Tony Award winning Broadway musical 'Fun Home,' for which she was nominated for Tony and Drama League Award Nominations and won the Lucille Lortel Award. On July 29 and 30 at 7:00 pm she joins the celebrated Broadway @ The Art House series, with Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host.

The Old Globe presents the West Coast premiere of Paul Gordon's delightfully romantic new musical SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, developed with Rick Boynton and presented in association with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where it was commissioned and had its world premiere in April 2015.

Casting is complete for the upcoming reading of the new musical A Lasting Impression performing at New York Musical Festival this July. CANDY BUCKLEY (Cabaret, After the Fall, Thoroughly Modern Millie), THEO STOCKMAN (American Psycho, American Idiot, Hair), and BEN MOSS (Freedom Riders) will join the previously announced cast which includes JENNIFER DAMIANO, CIARA RENEE, MEGHANN FAHY, and KRISTA PIOPPI. The reading is directed by WHITNEY MOSERY (King Charles III, American Psycho).

T. Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announces the next T. Fellow is Christopher Maring, the fifth fellow in the one?year program designed to educate and empower new creative producers. The fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000 with a $20,000 budget for the development of a new theatrical production.

 Tony-nominee and Obie and Theatre World Award winner Adam Pascal, has created some of the most memorable roles in recent Broadway history. He shot to stardom for originating the role of Roger in the Broadway blockbuster "Rent," as well as the London production, and starred in the film version.

This summer, NYMF will be on quest to save Paradise one Scrabble tile at a time. The new musical, The Last Word will be presented at the Duke on 42nd Street, a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 W 42nd St) . The Last Word is written by Brett Sullivan (Billy Elliot Live Film Director) and will be directed by Michael Bello (Doctor Zhivago), choreography by Nick Kenkel (Gotta Dance, Legally Blonde) and Musical Supervisor is Conrad Helfrich (Dirty Dancing).  It will begin performances on July 22 and will run through July 29, 2016. Arena Stage announces the full cast and creative team for BORN FOR THIS: THE BEBE WINANS STORY, the heartwarming true story of six-time Grammy Award-winning icon BeBe Winans' journey to fame.

LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater will open its 2016-2017 season with the world premiere of THE HARVEST, by Samuel D. Hunter, directed by Davis McCallum. THE HARVEST, whose cast will feature Gideon Glick, Scott Jaeck, Leah Karpel, Madeleine Martin, Peter Mark Kendall, Christopher Sears, and Zoe Winters, will begin performances Saturday, October 8th, and run for six weeks only through Sunday, November 20th at the Claire Tow Theater. Opening Night is Monday, October 24th.
