Jazzmobile's community concert “Keep The Music Playing” is back with nearly 60 stellar Jazz musicians who are donating their performance to support Jazzmobile, and its performance & education programs!

Bishop Arts Theatre Center (BATC) turns 25 this year while celebrating another milestone anniversary with North Texas Giving Day, the online giving event for people to generate donations for North Texas nonprofits, which is turning 10. To commemorate the occasion BATC will present Denise Lee Sings Miss Simone a special North Texas Giving Day Giving Event & Concert featuring Denise Lee accompanied by a 4-piece band.

The momentum of last year's first Dallas Cabaret Festival will continue with an outstanding line up for the Second Annual Dallas Cabaret Festival, July 27-29, at the Women's Museum at Fair Park (3800 Parry Avenue, Dallas, TX 75226). Directed by Kelsey Leigh Ervi, the cast will feature Calvin Roberts as Thomas Hodge, Alan Pollard as Davis Tallison, Ian Ferguson as Peter Trammel, Rebecca McDonald as Emilia Hodge, Whitney Holotik as Andie Chastain, Jeff Burleson as Dr. Driscoll/Others, Adam A. WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director and Loop Executive Producer Terry Martin today announced the line-up for the 2014 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival, March 6-16, 2014 at the Addison Theatre and Conference Centre. Seven world premieres highlight this year's festival as well as 12 new artists/companies making their Festival debut, plus several returning favorites. The Festival will include dance, theatre, cabaret artists and visual arts, and a play produced by WaterTower Theatre. The Festival is made possible, in part, through the generous support of The Town of Addison and the Texas Commission on the Arts and media sponsor, TheaterJones.com.

A just-opened multimedia exhibit at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center is a love letter to flamenco in the Big Apple. It features over 150 historical and contemporary prints, photographs, performance programs, album covers, newspaper and magazine articles, books, costumes and performance regalia, oral histories, music, and rarely seen film and video clips chronicling the artistic and personal lives of Spanish dancers who came to New York and the art form they embraced and changed. The exhibit, a collaboration between the LPA and Flamenco Vivo, one of the country's premier flamenco and Spanish dance companies, and its Artistic Director Carlotta Santana, will be on display at the Library's Shelby Cullom Davis Museum, Vincent Astor Gallery until August 3, 2013.
