This Is Not a Theatre Company announces two new virtual shows for the age of physical distancing, Play in Your Bathtub and Life on Earth. Building on a history of ground-breaking, immersive work, This Is Not a Theatre Company now brings their work into people's homes to promote unity, self-care, and healing through the arts. Tickets for both plays are available by donation only, but a reservation must be made via the ticketing link to receive the event link. Play in Your Bathtub will run for four performances beginning April 1. Life on Earth will begin April 3.

The Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT) along with longtime comedy co-producers Madeline Mahoney and Matt Stango present SHOW OF SHOWS, a new one-act play competition. The bracket-structured event will take place over four weeks of thrilling shows, as each winning playwright earns the change to stage the next segment of their one-act by audience vote. Six teams will compete to make it to the finals: a chance to stage the play in its entirety.

PUFFS or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic the hit comedy currently running at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) recently celebrated a major landmark as the show reached 300 performances Off Broadway on January 1, 2018. The show also broke two New World Stages box office records: the recently-concluded holiday week marks the largest grossing week in the history of Stage 5 at New World Stages, with the show achieving last week the highest advance sales for Stage 5 in the existence of the venue.
