New York Deaf Theatre, in its 36th anniversary season, has announced that it will present CAPTIVE AUDIENCE: AN EVENING OF SHORT PLAYS BY DAVID IVES Saturday, November 7th through Sunday, November 22nd at the June Havoc Theatre at Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex 312 West 36th Street. The production will have its official opening on Wednesday, November 11th at 7:30PM.

Spanning several years to several decades after the end of the world, survivors must begin again to create a new society. As the survivors bond by recounting the popular 'Cape Feare' episode of The Simpsons, the story evolves into its own mythos.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to welcome Adjusted Realists with the US premiere of GLUTEN! written by Stephen Kaliski and directed by Mr. Kaliski and Amanda Holston. GLUTEN! begins performances on Thursday, November 19 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 5. Press opening is Tuesday, November 24 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Emery Battis Award Recipients Announced

Iman and Pedlow were chosen for their 2014-2015 Mainstage Season performances as the beleaguered serving wench Aldonza in Man of La Mancha and the poetry-obsessed Lucille in The Metromaniacs, respectively. The awards were presented on October 13, 2015, at the Opening Night dinner for the first show of STC's new Mainstage Season, Salome, hosted by the Board of Trustees. Iman and Pedlow each received a $5,000 cash prize made possible by the generosity of an anonymous donor, along with a crystal sculpture commemorating their achievement.

Retro Productions to Stage GOOD BOYS AND TRUE

Retro Productions celebrates its eleventh season with Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Glee/Big Love) drama, Good Boys and True which had its World Premiere at The Steppenwolf Theatre in 2007. The production is directed by DeLisa White who won a New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Director for Vincent Marano's Lights Narrow.

PROMISING begins performances on Saturday, November 14 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 5. Opening Night is Wednesday, November 18 at 8 PM. Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), now through October 24.    The Representatives in association with The Olmsted Salon present this site-specific re-imagining of "Veritas" by Stan Richardson, beginning Thursday, October 21st with an Opening on Monday, October 26. The theatre for the production is The Cave @ St. George's in Gramercy Park, 209 East 16th Street, NYC 10003.  The play is co-directed by Matt Steiner & Stan Richardson (The Representatives).  The Creative and the Production team includes Meg Stemmler - Creative Designer, Lindsay Maiorana - Event Producer, Paul Hudson - Lighting Designer, Ashley Walch - Costume Designer, Jordan Schildcrout - Dramaturg, Liz Richards - Production Stage Manager, Gwyn Osnos - General Manager, and Nicole Ofeno - Marketing Director.
