Insult comic Lisa Lampanelli will perform at the Treasure Island Theater Friday, February 10 at 9 p.m.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 32 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2017 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 18 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

PARAMOUR leading lady Ruby Lewis has just released a music video for her new holiday single 'Somewhere in My Memory.' The 'making of,' behind-the-scenes look features Lewis in Ted Spencer Studio in New York City with producer David Wise. Check it out below!

Civic Ensemble, in collaboration with The History Center, presents Bah Humbug! A Rhiner Commedia Carol, a mashup of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol and Ithaca's own history of the Rhiners and performed in the style of Commedia Dell'Arte.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of IMOGEN SAYS NOTHING by Aditi Brennan Kapil, directed by Laurie Woolery, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street), January 20-February 11. Opening Night is Thursday, January 26.

Just in time for the holiday season, Cirque du Soleil announced that additional performances of KURIOS - Cabinet of Curiosities, its most acclaimed touring show, in Dallas, are available starting today due to overwhelming advance ticket sales.

LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil is now playing under the redesigned white-and-gold Big Top AT&T Park (corner of Third St., and Terry Francois Blvd.) until January 29, 2016.  Due to strong demand, Cirque du Soleil has added additional performances of LUZIA in January 2017 in San Francisco.

A sense of fulfillment fills his body as he sees his reflection in the hazy mirror. The music begins, and he suddenly feels completely comfortable in a place he only arrived at a few weeks prior. Each beat of the song sends pulses through the somewhat scratched up flooring, up through his bare feet, taking over his entire body. His demeanor is peaceful, passionate and powerful as he commands his way across the floor with the other dancers, each movement a new discovery in his mind. As the combination comes to an end, finishing with a grand jeté into a graceful arabesque par terre, 18 year old Nick Nazzaro remains in disbelief that he is spending his days dancing in the city of his dreams.

Cirque du Soleil will arrive in Melbourne next month with the new production, KOOZA. One of the most acrobatically breathtaking shows in the Cirque du Soleil stable, KOOZA is a colourful, sparkling homage to the traditions of circus and combines thrilling acrobatics with the art of clowning. KOOZA will open under the famous blue-and-yellow Big Top at Flemington Racecourse on Friday January 20, 2017.
