​​​​​​​ Unicorn Theatre has announced that Producing Artistic Director Cynthia Levin will retire in June 2024. Levin's departure will culminate a historic run spanning more than four decades at one of Kansas City's landmark theatres, where she gained a regional and national reputation for innovating and bringing to life bold and diverse plays with powerful messages and illuminating people in an empathetic and unique way.

Beginning May 19, Creede Repertory Theatre (CRT) will produce its 58th season, which includes comedy, drama, romance, a world premiere and something for the entire family. CRT will continue to champion its thriving educational and audience engagement programming.

From May 28 through Sept. 17, Creede Repertory Theatre (CRT) will present its 57th season, welcoming audiences back with a return to fully live, indoor performances, audience enrichment opportunities and thriving education programs.

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 14th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a catered reception at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Tickets are $35 for CTG members, $40 non-members or $50 at the door. Creede Repertory Theatre is thrilled to announce its 2017 summer repertory season and casting.

CRT is thrilled to partner with Boulder's LOCAL Theater Company for a staged reading of The History Room by Charlie Thurston. Starring Christy Brandt, Kate Berry and John Green, The History Room will be a part of LOCAL Lab's 5th Annual New Play Fest. LOCAL Theater's Artistic Director Pesha Rudnick will helm the staged reading on Sunday, March 13 at 2pm at eTown Hall in Boulder, Colorado, and then, she will re-join the cast in Creede to direct the full production here this summer.

Whoever said that, 'love makes the world go round' was right. At least according to the characters in Creede Repertory's production of The Last Romance at the Arvada Center, he was. However, in this show, the conventions of a typical young love are cast aside, because the lovers in this story are in their twilight years, and proving that there is always more love to be found in life.
