Geva Theatre Center's Artistic Director Mark Cuddy and Executive Director Christopher Mannelli are proud to announce the 11 major productions and events of the much anticipated 2017-2018 Season, the non-profit theatre's 45th year of making professional theatre of a national standard in Rochester.

The American Repertory Theater reunites with Oregon Shakespeare Festival Artistic Director Bill Rauch to present FINGERSMITH, Alexa Junge's adaptation of Sarah Waters' 2002 novel of the same name. The playwright's Herculean effort capsulizes the 582-page opus into a taut two-hour drama enhanced by exceptional performances and outstanding production design. Words are insufficient to praise the central trio of women - Tracee Chimo, Christina Bennett Lind, and Kristine Nielsen - who inhabit all the layers of the fascinating characters in this Victorian thriller.

Artistic Director Chay Yew and Board President Steven Miller announce the appointment of the theater's new Managing Director, Erica Daniels.

Victory Gardens Theater announces Backstage at the Biograph: Breathing Life into a New Play. This behind-the-scenes event focuses on Cocked by Sarah Gubbins, directed by Joanie Schultz, running February 12 - March 13, 2016. Backstage at the Biograph: Breathing Life into a New Play examines the process of developing and staging a world-premiere production. Backstage at the Biograph: Breathing Life into a New Play is Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

Teatro Vista, in association with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and Victory Gardens Theater, presents the world premiere of Where Did We Sit on the Bus?, created and performed by Brian Quijada and directed by Victory Gardens' Artistic Director, Chay Yew. The production will take place at the Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph St. Chicago. Opening/Press night is Thursday, March 17 at 7:30 pm.  Regular performances are from Friday, March 18 through Sunday, April 10. Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Preview performances run from Thursday, March 10 through Wednesday, March 16. All tickets are $15. Two of television's hottest series are joining the diverse lineup of events at this year's PaleyFest LA, the William S. Paley Television Festival celebrating TV's most acclaimed series.

? Joanna Grosodonia, Chair of the Board of Trustees for Geva Theatre Center, has announced that, following a national search, Christopher Mannelli will join the theatre as Executive Director and partner with Artistic Director Mark Cuddy as co-C.E.O.

?Victory Gardens Theater today announces the departure of Managing Director Christopher Mannelli.  Mannelli has accepted a position as Executive Director of the Geva Theatre Center in Rochester, NY.  Mannelli will remain at Victory Gardens through February 26, 2016.  The board of directors has begun a national search for his successor. 

The National Endowment for the Arts announced Tuesday that The Neo-Futurists are the recipients of an Art Works grant for the development of Neo-Lab's inaugural production, Saturn Returns, as well as its companion event The Neo-Futurist Kitchen (a micro-festival on art and performance). The Neo-Futurists also announce the creation of Neo-Access, a 3-pronged initiative to break down barriers and create inclusive and collaborative work for audiences and artists.
