Following a performance of In The Heights at California Theatre in San Bernardino, the actor playing Usnavi took to the stage to say a few words of his own. Chris Marcos gave a little speech, then brought his girlfriend, April Sheets, to the stage and proposed to her.

Cupcake Studio's production of Green Day's American Idiot oozes of freshness in Trump's America. There was never a dull moment in this high energy, headbanging, production. The power of this show rests in its pure energy, and the cast certainly delivered.

Jordan Kai Burnett (Love is a Battlefield) returns as the spicy chanteuse hostess. Bryan Blaskie (Assistants: The Musical) will return as musical director.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony and Grammy Award-winning show In the Heights had a lot to shout about when it played Broadway in 2008...in fact, it still does. First of all, it's a musical with and about Latinos - way overdue -plus it has a terrific book with a heartwarming storyline about a closely knit community. That's right, a real community, one that boasts a bevy of exceedingly real and likeable characters. Miranda also created a varied score with ballads & traditional pop melodies and salsa meshed together with rap. Candlelight Pavilion brings In the Heights to Claremont with a dynamite cast and slick direction by Benjamin Perez. It's full-out, enjoyable fare!

Most of the time, when you go to the theater, you pretty much know what to expect. Though the subject matter and delivery varies, when you buy a ticket to a play or musical you basically know what kind of show you're going to see.
