Surflight Theatre has announced that they will be continuing their 2023  Season with the energetic romp full of impressions, wit, and charm, Popcorn Falls.

New Jersey Repertory Company “NJRep,” located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch presents “Popcorn Falls” written by James Hindman and directed by Rose Riccardi. The play stars James Hindman and Tom Souhrada.

The Peccadillo Theater Company will present Edward James Hyland and Robert Cuccioli in  Uncle Ted: Scenes from the McCarrick Report, a new play by Dan Wackerman, directed by Michael Parva with John Fitzgibbon, Daren Kelly, Robert Verlaque, Kersti Bryan, Jonathan Brody, Jim Schubin, Michael Castillejos, and more.

Sea Dog Theater follows up their award-winning 2018 season with the World Premiere of Devin Burnam's site-specific play, The Catastrophe Club. The production runs October 18 - November 22 and is directed by longtime Sea Dog collaborator Shaun Bennet Fauntleroy. Opening night is slated for October 18.

Following its acclaimed 2018 national tour, C.S. Lewis Onstage: The Most Reluctant Convert starring Max McLean as C.S. Lewis has eleven performances at The Broad Stage Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 21 (press opening is Friday, July 12). The play is presented in Santa Monica by Fellowship for Performing Arts, the producers of The Screwtape Letters and The Great Divorce.

Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, has selected its four finalists for the 2019 Premiere Play Festival. Now in its 15th year, the Festival is an annual competition for unproduced scripts that offers developmental opportunities to playwrights with strong affiliations to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware. This year's finalists were selected from a record 659 submissions, a 15% increase from the previous record set in 2018.

American Theater Group proudly announces the full cast and creative team for its World Premiere production of Tell Them I'm Still Young, a new play by Julia Doolittle, at the South Orange Performing Arts Center January 24 - February 3, 2019. Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, has selected its four finalists for the 2018 Premiere Play Festival and will increase its cash awards for honored playwrights by one-third, the theatre announced today. Premiere Stages received a record 572 submissions for the festival, an annual competition for unproduced scripts that offers developmental opportunities to playwrights with strong affiliations to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. The 572 submissions marked a 43% jump from 2017, and represented playwrights of all backgrounds and ages. For the first time in the festival's 14-year history, three of the four finalist scripts selected were requested from synopses submitted by playwrights.

Fellowship for Performing Arts returns to New York for their third season with the first New York revival of William Nicholson's award-winning play SHADOWLANDS. The production opened last night, November 1st, at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row and will run through January 7, 2018.
