Producers of the Tony Award-winning musical Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella (Broadway Theatre, 1681 Broadway) -- Robyn Goodman, Jill Furman and Stephen Kocis -- announce that the actress and reality television sensation NeNe Leakes (THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA) will be the newest star to join the cast, startingNovember 25, when she steps into the role of Cinderella's wicked stepmother Madame.

The Emmy and Golden Globe nominated star Fran Drescher ('The Nanny') will extend her engagement an additional three weeks until June 29 in Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA on Broadway, it has been announced by the Tony Award-winning musical's producers Robyn Goodman, Jill Furman and Stephen Kocis. Ms. Drescher - making her Broadway debut this season as Cinderella's wicked stepmother - joined the production in February and, while an extension through June 8 was previously announced, it has been determined anew that Ms. Drescher will remain with the CINDERELLA company through June 29.

On Monday, January 20, multi-platinum pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen will visit ABC's Good Morning America to talk about stepping into the famed glass slippers as she prepares to make her Broadway debut in the title role of CINDERELLA on Broadway. As part of the segment, Ms. Jepsen will give GMA an exclusive behind the scenes look at CINDERELLA, about to begin its 2nd year at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Broadway In Chicago just announced that RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music, will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) for a limited engagement from December 16, 2014 through January 4, 2015.

Producers have tapped 'Call Me Maybe' singer Carly Rae Jepsen to replace Tony nominee Laura Osnes in Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, currently playing on Broadway. Jepsen will step into the role on Feb. 4 for a limited 12-week run.

The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). 'Sing Along,' the short film musical starring an all-Broadway cast, will have a three-day theatrical run in Los Angeles this week. The movie was filmed in New York City in October 2012 and had its East Coast premiere in April of this year.

The producers of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA have announced that three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker will join the cast on Broadway as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, Marie, starting September 6 through January 19, 2014. Ms. Luker takes over the role from Victoria Clark, who will leave CINDERELLA temporarily for a new project (to be announced), returning to the musical on January 21.

ADEPERO ODUYE will assume the role of Thelma in the critically acclaimed revival of Horton Foote's American masterpiece, THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL, on Tuesday, July 16th. Oduye is best known for her acclaimed breakout role in Dee Ree's Sundance film, Pariah, and for her performance opposite Queen Latifah, Alfre Woodard and Phylicia Rashad in the Lifetime Television movie, Steel Magnolias. Condola Rashad, who also co-starred with Oduye in Steel Magnolias, played her final performance as Thelma on Sunday, July 14.
