The Open Fist Theatre Company has announced the next production in their 2012 season, MOON OVER BUFFALO, written by Ken Ludwig and directed by Bjørn Johnson, featuring fight choreography by B.H. Barry.

Helen Mirren will lend her voice to an upcoming episode of FOX's GLEE, according to TVLine.com. Their source commented: "Helen came in and secretly recorded several long and hilarious monologues two weeks ago. Then she visited the kids on set, and they had no idea she was coming; they were stunned."

The Barnstable Comedy Club in Barnstable will present Moon Over Buffalo, a comedy by Ken Ludwig.

'Open Rehearsal' by Lazarre Seymour Simckes, author of 'Seven Days of Mourning,' 'Ten Best Martyrs of the Year,' and 'Nossig's Antics,' is a Pirandellian farce in which a play about a chaotic family pretends to be just a chaotic rehearsal. The playwright is an award-winning author whose plays usually confront difficult questions of Jewish history with absurdist logic. This is his fourth production at Theater for the New City and his first time directing his own work.

Encore will be premiering a new documentary on show-biz legend Jerry Lewis entitled, 'JERRY LEWIS: Method To The Madness on Saturday, December 17th. Broadway-bound Ricky Martin has closed a deal to appear in GLEE's McKinley High, according to TVLine. Martin will play 'the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio' early next year.

It was announced today that the cast for the second week of Scott Siegel's BROADWAY HOOTENANNY will be Country Superstar Larry Gatlin (Will Rogers Follies), William Michals (Emile de Beque in Lincoln Center's production of South Pacific), Jon Fletcher (Bonnie & Clyde), and MORE! This exceptional and varied cast of top-flight entertainers will perform at 11 PM on Thursday, December 15th. They will be followed in the weeks and months ahead by an ever-increasing number of major names signing on to sing.
