2014 sees some new names and some returns to The Crazy Coqs. January starts with the London debut of the sizzling cabaret performer Carole J .Bufford and her show Body and Soul (tonight, January 7 - 11) followed by the popular Broadway star Brent Barrett and his show Night Songs (January 14 -18) and then actress and singer Linda Purl with her show Midnight Caravan: Celebrating the Great Ladies of the Glamorous Nightclub Era of the 40s & 50s (January 21 - 25).

The nostalgic musical comedy BURT & ME featuring the music of Burt Bacharach & Hal David (book by Larry McKenna) comes to Delaware Theatre Company (www.delawaretheatre.org) from May 7-18, 2014. The show features all the classic hits from this legendary musical team.

On Friday and Saturday of the past weekend composer Burt Bacharach appeared at Davies Symphony Hall with the San Francisco Symphony. Burt Bacharach is a household for many generations and audiences, and even those who don't know his name certainly know his music. He achieved fame scoring many Hollywood movies, writing songs for such legends as Diane Warwick. Broadway audiences know many of those songs from Promises Promises, a musical that was written in the 60s and recently wowed audiences in the 2010 revival. And even the hit TV show Glee featured Bacharach's music.

A leading voice in the revival of male fado singers, Antonio Zambujo brings his distinctive style which merges traditional fado with cante alentejano-a North African-influenced male chant from southern Portugal-and Brazilian popular music to Zankel Hall on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. Zambujo is known for pushing Portugal's folk music tradition into the contemporary, and it is his love for tradition together with his will to innovate the popular classic style that distinguishes him from other fado singers. His earthy songs, sensitive interpretations, and arrangements often incorporate elements of bossa nova, M.P.B. (musica popular brasileira), and jazz, and feature clarinet and cavaquinho led by acoustic bass and guitar. Legendary singer Caetano Veloso notes "...what you hear in Zambujo is something that goes deeper. He...makes us think about João Gilberto and everything that came into Brazilian music because of him." This concert marks Zambujo's first performance at Carnegie Hall.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker have announced that following rave reviews and strong box office, What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined, music by Burt Bacharach; lyrics by Hal David and others; musical arrangements by Kyle Riabko; conceived by Kyle Riabko and David Lane Seltzer; directed by Steven Hoggett, will extend four weeks through Sunday, February 2, at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. What's It All About? had originally been scheduled to run throughSunday, January 5, 2014.

In today's New York Times In Performance video, 26-year-old singer and star of WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? BACHARACH REIMAGINED, Kyle Riablk plays his arrangement of the songs "Anyone Who Had a Heart," "This Guy's In Love With You" and "Alfie."

NJPAC welcomes Broadway's quintessential actor, dancer, singer, theatre director, producer, and choreographer, Tommy Tune, for his first solo cabaret show, Taps, Tunes and Tall Tales. NJPAC's Chase Room will host the 9-time Tony award winner tonight, November 24th at 3pm as he takes an autobiographical stroll through his vast career featuring renditions of standards by Irving Berlin, Kurt Weill, Cole Porter, and many more.

Named one of '100 Greatest Artists of All Time' by Rolling Stone, Costello will make a Jorgensen debut on his new East Coast tour tonight, Nov. 21, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. The November tour is his first set of headlining solo dates in a decade.
