This year's 'Make Believe On Broadway' was held just last night, November 6th, at the Schoenfeld Theatre is hosted by SNL's Cecily Strong. The special event honored Josh Groban with the Sir Ian McKellenAward for his work in philanthropy and activism.

This year's event will honor Chief Legal Officer of Apollo Global Management, John Suydam, and award-winning actor, singer and philanthropist, Josh Groban

Touring vocal group The Broadway Boys announce the launch of a month long Kickstarter campaign to fund their new album, "A New Broadway."  The company is aiming to raise $30,000 by August 13th and have recorded their first single, "Magic to Do," as a preview of the album's sound. 

Broadway stars came together to celebrate America and sing out. Cast includes stars from Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, Cats, The Wiz & Spring Awakening. Watch below!

Red Bull Theater today announced a very special Revelation Reading: for two nights only, on Sunday, June 18th and Monday June 19th at The Duke on 42nd Street (229 West 42nd Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues) Red Bull will present a concert reading of  THE COUNTRY WIFE, a new musical adapted from the play of the same name by William Wycherley by Richard Maltby Jr. with lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. and music by David Shire, and direction by Mr. Maltby.  

Hamilton was in da house! Just last week, Hamilton stars Javier Munoz,  Brandon Victor Dixon, James Monroe Iglehart, Mandy Gonzalez, and Bryan Terrell Clark joined SAG-AFTRA Foundation and BroadwayWorld for a filmed Conversations Q&A series to recognize and celebrate the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen.   

The Mighty Quinn Foundation hosted Shakespeare and Champagne, a fundraising benefit for the Shakespeare Academy at Stratford, on May 15 at Ars Nova in New York City. Jenn Harris (Gayby, New York is Dead) hosted the event. Bryan Terrell Clark, who currently plays George Washington in the Tony Award winning musical Hamilton was among the evening's special guests. On Sunday, March 26th, award-winning composer/writer Bobby Cronin made an exciting return to the NYC concert stage in the exquisite W NY Times Square. As part of the new 'Live In The Living Room' series, brought to you by the producers of BROADWAY AT W, Cronin's concert titled #LOVE IS LOVE featured many of Broadway's favorite voices serenading the tunes of Cronin's catalogue. #EduHam is a series of HAMILTON Wednesday matinees made available to New York City schools with a high concentration of students from low-income families for the ticket price of only $10. This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum.

Executive Producer Jonathan Estabrooks, Tony & Grammy Award-winning producer Van Dean (Broadway Records), two-time Tony-nominated Broadway producer Michael J Moritz Jr. and producer and Broadway orchestrator Charlie Rosen today announced that this past Tuesday, a Who's Who of Broadway, Hollywood, Theatre, Dance, and Music came together at the legendary Avatar Studios in New York City and Los Angeles to record and film a single of the iconic Beatles' song 'With A Little Help From My Friends' to inspire support for the arts in America.
