The critically-acclaimed Ebony Repertory Theatre production of Lorraine Hansberry's American classic "A Raisin in the Sun," opens at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre this Sunday, January 22. Performances continue through February 19, 2012.

Bruce Norris' Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy Clybourne Park, which began previews January 11, opens next Wednesday January 25 at 8 p.m. at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum. The production today confirmed that it's slated to make its Broadway debut on April 12, 2012.

CLYBOURNE PARK, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Bruce Norris, will open on Broadway on Thursday, April 12 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) in a production directed by Pam McKinnon. The first preview will be announced at a later date.
The original cast of the 2010 world premiere Playwrights Horizons production (Crystal A. Dickinson, Brendan Griffin, Damon Gupton, Christina Kirk, Annie Parisse, Jeremy Shamos and Frank Wood), currently performing at Center Theater Group's Mark Taper Forum through February 26, is expected to make the move to Broadway.

The Jungle Theater announced today that Harold Pinter's classic dark comedy THE BIRTHDAY PARTY will replace the previously announced THE PAIN AND THE ITCH in the 2012 season. The production will be on stage April 6-May 13, 2012, at the Lyn-Lake theater, 2951 Lyndale Av. S., in Minneapolis.

Crystal A. Dickinson, Brendan Griffin, Damon Gupton, Christina Kirk, Annie Parisse, Jeremy Shamos and Frank Wood have been cast in Bruce Norris' Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy "Clybourne Park," opening the 45th season at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum, January 25, 2012.
The entire original Playwrights Horizons' off-Broadway cast, along with original director Pam MacKinnon, reunites for the Los Angeles production of "Clybourne Park," which begins previews January 11 and continues through February 26.

On Monday night, the Dramatists Guild of America hosted its annual Awards Night at the Players Club in New York City. The ceremony was hosted by David Henry Hwang and recognized the works of Bruce Norris (Clybourne Park), John Kander, Fred Ebb and David Thompson (The Scottsboro Boys), Robert Lopez, Trey Parker and Matt Stone (The Book of Mormon), Christopher Durang and Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Paula Vogel.
