Each year, thousands of audience members flock to Toronto's renowned The Musical Stage Company signature concert UnCovered to discover the stories hidden within familiar pop songs. Now, for the first time, Montreal will have access to this riveting and deeply moving show filled with inspirational voices on Saturday, November 21, 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, November 22, 11:00 a.m.

The Stratford Festival is following up on the success of its recent Shakespeare Film Festival with a $10-a-month digital content subscription, Stratfest@Home, offering more Shakespeare and more films, along with new commissions, music, conversation, cooking and comedy.

Angelwalk Theatre will bring some musical theatre fun to the fall lineup with its brand-new online series Backstage Tea, airing every Tuesday at 5:30 pm (EST) starting October 20th and available until 11:59 pm (EST) the following Monday. The series will run for a total of 9 episodes, with the final episode airing on December 15th.

Could Diana be the next musical to be filmed live on stage? Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail has reported that the show will be filmed without an audience, and will be available to stream on Netflix prior to returning to Broadway in 2021.

Diana producers Grove Entertainment (Beth Williams), Frank Marshall and The Araca Group celebrated the first preview performance at Broadway's Longacre Theatre today by announcing that the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the new musical will be recorded by UMe, a division of Universal Music Group, and released this summer. The cast will go into the recording studio a week after the show's official opening on March 31st. Composer David Bryan and Ian Eisendrath, Musical Supervisor and Arranger, will produce the album.
