X FACTOR fans received some surprising news on last night's show involving one of the teen contestants. 'We watched the show back and the final 12 we're very happy with, but we believe we made a mistake with one act,' said judge Simon Cowell.

On Friday night "Jimmy Kimmel Live" concluded its week-long run of shows from Brooklyn's Harvey Theater at BAM - Brooklyn Academy of Music. In an effort to support the thousands of people still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, "JKL" and ABC will auction off Kimmel's custom-made, Brooklyn-themed desk signed by late-night talk show hosts David Letterman, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.

Judges L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato felt she didn't have enough fun with the song. Simon Cowell disagreed commenting, 'It wold be criminal if you left the competition tomorrow. FOX, Syco and FremantleMedia announced today that actress/singer Adrienne Bailon, who is best known for her work in 3LW and the Cheetah Girls; and Jesse Giddings, a former MuchMusic Canada V.J. and musician, will join THE X FACTOR's "Pepsi PreShow Live" as hosts. Jim Cantiello, formerly of MTV News, will return for his second season as digital correspondent.

Following the conclusion of the 2012 World Series, THE X FACTOR' Top 16 acts will perform live for the first time on a special two-hour-and-seven-minute show Wednesday, Oct. 31 (8:00-10:07 PM live/ PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Hosts Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez will take THE X FACTOR stage alongside judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and L.A. Reid. Then, on Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top Finalists will be revealed, and return the following week to face America' vote.
