SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in its 2nd smash year on Broadway, and has been seen by more than 1 million audience members from around the world. It features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy Award-winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger(Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, 'Big Love'). Just yesterday, Reeve Carney and the ensemble Spider-Men signed copies of their 2013-2014 Calendar in the lobby of the Foxwoods Theatre. Net proceeds from the calendar will go to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. Check out photos from the event below! (more...)

The 14-month calendar made its debut during a segment featuring Reeve Carney ("Peter Parker") and the performers on ABC's "Good Morning America" this morning, November 15 at 8:30 am EST. CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's SPIDER-MAN was already hard a work this week recording their track for the album. Patrick Page played his final performance as 'The Green Goblin' in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark yesterday, August 5. Broadway star Robert Cuccioli, best known for his Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle winning and Tony-nominated performance as the star of Jekyll and Hyde, will take on the role in his long-anticipated return to Broadway. Cuccioli will play his first performance on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street). The event stars more than 50 Performing Arts students, with a special appearance by Angelica Salem, Singing Artist/Pace Commercial Dance Student, who will perform her pop song, "We Rock the World.' Click here to watch a video. In addition, Pace faculty member Joshua Dean's 'Dancing in Air,' a Pace First "Bad Boy" aerial number will be featured.
