Until the Sun, a Rocking Blues band, was formed in 2017. Their music includes and often fuses elements of Blues, Alternative Rock, Pink-Floyd-esque Psychedelia, and Jazz.

'Songs for a New World' at Birmingham Festival Theatre is a very intimate performance with powerful vocals and surprises. The take away is to embrace the power of unity, hope and resilience. We all have struggles that seem to be too much to bear. This wonderful show shares the truth that you are not alone, and you are stronger than you think.

'Songs for a New World' is not a typical (Beginning -middle and end) linear musical. It is a collection of powerful songs that examines life, love and the choices that we make.I was able to speak with some the cast to get their creative insight into giving life to this popular musical.

Alice (Emma Brooke Levering) is a young girl who after spying a curious white rabbit in a vest and coat run into hole. Follows it down and is whisked into a seemingly never-ending adventure. The all female cast provides a wonderful "Girl Power" dynamic in the show by the Birmingham Children's Theatre.

'The Three Musketeers' is high adventure for all ages . Director Brandon Bruce delivers great theater combined with a high-energy stunt show. You are treated to dazzling sword fights, combat acrobatics, and a dramatic plot with interesting characters performed by amazing actors. This classic story is rich with the spirit of adventure, friendship, honor and romance.

'Cinderella: An Outrageous Fairy Tale' is a dynamic piece by Birmingham Children's Theatre. The show is a carousel of whimsy and childish glee. The actors and a live band keeps the energy up and a festive holiday spirit throughout the performance.

Strawdog Theatre Company opens their 25th anniversary season with the Chicago premiere of Jennifer Haley's Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, directed by Joanie Schultz, tonight, October 7 - November 10 at the Strawdog Theatre, 3829 North Broadway Street.
