The four-time Tony nominated musical sensation JEKYLL & HYDE is celebrating its 200th performance at Chicago's Cadillac Palace as part of the show's pre-Broadway tour. Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis stars in the title dual role of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde, alongside Grammy Award nominee and R&B superstar Deborah Cox as Lucy. Gavin Lee and Kristen Beth Williams are leading the new cast of the West End hit musical Top Hat as Jerry Travers and Dale Tremont. They are joined by Olivier award nominee Alex Gaumond as Alberto Beddini and Clive Hayward as Horace Hardwick, with Vivien Parry (Madge) and Stephen Boswell (Bates) continuing in the production. Tonight The Drama League announced, during the 29th Annual Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring Audra McDonald at the Pierre Hotel, the founding of The Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Studio Lab and The Joseph and Lauren Pizza Welcome Center, both to be components inside the new Drama League Theater Center. Located in the heart of Tribeca's burgeoning cultural district, The Drama League Theater Center will open its doors at 32 Avenue of the Americas this spring.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce that individual tickets for the all-new production of JEKYLL & HYDE go on-sale to the public Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. JEKYLL & HYDE will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph St.) for two weeks only, March 12 - 24, 2013.

Tom Chambers and Charlotte Gooch take the lead roles of Jerry Travers and Dale Tremont in Top Hat which is currently playing at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End. The show, directed by Matthew White, is booking until 28 September 2013.

Helen Marie Guditis, Founder and President of "The Theatre Museum" , died of cancer, in her sleep. She valiantly fought for 4 years but succumbed to the disease on December 3, 2012. She was with family members, who said that she sang broadway show tunes until her last breath. Stewart F. Lane, chairman of The Theatre Museum called Helen's dedication to theater inspiring and stated, 'Helen will be deeply missed by the theater community.'

A Christmas Story, The Musical arrives on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre just in time for the 2012 holiday season. Based on the 1983 movie perennial, the musical plays and eight-week limited engagement through December 30. The show opened on November 19th and BroadwayWorld.com was there! Stellar Productions held a staged reading of Bob Bartlett's 'Whales' this weekend directed by Stewart F. Lane. The script has been a finalist in several play writing festivals including Baltimore Playwriting Festival, Catholic University, Kendeda Playwriting Festival, and Seven Devils Playwriting Conference. The cast included Ian Biesinger, Rob Pedini, Kathy Curtis, Bonnie Comley, David Mangiamele, and Alyssa Renzi.

The 19th annual "Living Landmarks" gala was a star-studded event attracting some 450 people to The Plaza ballroom on November 8th. Each year, The New York Landmarks Conservancy recognizes New Yorkers who have made outstanding contributions to the City and honors them as Living Landmarks. This year the honorees are: Daniel Boulud, Robert Caro, Peter L. Malkin, Liza Minnelli, James M. Nederlander, James L. Nederlander, and E. John Rosenwald, Jr. Scroll below for photos from the event!

James M. Nederlander (Chairman) and James L. Nederlander (President) kicked off the 100th anniversary of The Nederlander Organization by becoming the New York Landmark Conservancy's first father/son duo to be named "Living Landmarks," an honor that was bestowed last night at their annual gala at the Plaza Hotel. ABT Opening Night Gala at City CenterAmerican Ballet Theatre's Opening Night Gala at New York City Center on Tuesday, October 16 celebrated the 70th anniversary of Agnes de Mille's Rodeo with a special tribute to the ballet's premiere. First performed by the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo on October 16, 1942 at the Metropolitan Opera House, de Mille's groundbreaking Western ballet features a unique combination of ballet and Broadway-style dancing set to Aaron Copland's famous score.

Over 180,000 new tickets are released for public sale today (10 September 2012) as Top Hat at the Aldwych Theatre extends its booking period to 28 September 2013. Seventy seven years after its movie release, Matthew White's production arrived in the West End earlier this year having completed a 20 week sell-out UK tour.
