Montalvo Arts Center presents contemporary country group Farewell Angelina in its Carriage House Theatre Concert Series. Among Rolling Stone's 'New Artists You Need to Know,' Farewell Angelina blends heart-stopping harmonies over blazing double-violins and guitars, earning soaring praise and comparisons to the acclaimed Dixie Chicks. The all-female quartet of longtime friends features four powerhouse vocalists, songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists, who have opened shows for the likes of Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, Frankie Ballard, Jake Owen, Billy Currington, Maroon 5, and Trace Adkins, to name a few.

The ninth-annual Watershed Music and Camping Festival announced today that country superstars Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban will headline the bucket list worthy three-day, two stage camping festival at George, WA's breathtaking Gorge Amphitheatre, overlooking the Columbia River Gorge on July 31-Aug. 2. Other acts also revealed today as part of the festival's consistently stacked main stage lineup include Kelsea Ballerini, Billy Currington, Travis Denning, Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Gone West Ft. The '90s influenced country band Hot Country Knights has inked a worldwide recording deal with Universal Music Group Nashville (UMGN), it was announced today. Teaming with imprint Capitol Records Nashville, the Knights are promising to bring real '90s country music back to a format that's been drowning in male sensitivity, cashmere cardigan sweaters and programmed drum loops.

The Country Music Association has selected rising Country artists Angie K, Everette and Kylie Morgan as recipients of the second annual CMA KixStart Artist Scholarship. Throughout the year-long program, which officially launches Tuesday, Oct. 1, CMA will mentor the artists, connect them with top industry professionals, as well as provide them opportunities to participate in CMA-related events during CMA Awards, CMA Fest, international events and CMA Foundation programs. In addition to participating in these events, each KixStart artist will receive a stipend to assist with various facets of their developing career.

The Grand Rapids Symphony definitely was 'Blessed' last night to have 'Jesus Take The Wheel' as guest song writers from Nashville perform there chart topping hits and tell the stories along with them, turning the ski area into a larger Blue Bird Cafe for the special event. As 'Went Out Last Night', we were 'Living in Fast Forward', and 'Playing Cinderella' and there might have been 'Something In The Water' as sweet as 'American Honey', some may have been a 'Real Good Man' or had a 'Girl Crush' but we all knew we'd be leaving 'When The Sun Goes Down'. Although leaving some people might have been thinking 'When I Get Where I'm Going', and thinking of the other great songs we heard.
