MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL, the hit musical celebration of the life and music of the original 1970s 'Queen of Disco,' Sylvester, returns to New York City for a special one-night-only performance at The Gramercy Theater (127 East 23rd Street) tonight, July 31st, 2015 at 8 PM.

ScoBar Entertainment will present actress/singer/comedian RAIN PRYOR in DIVORCED, DANGEROUS & DIVALICIOUS - Songs of Hope Heartache & Truth, at Iridium NYC, for one night only, Tuesday, August 25 at 8pm. She will be accompanied by Zach Lapidus on piano, Jerry  DeVore on bass & Joel E. Mateo on drums.

Tonight, July 30 at 8:00 PM, Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage presents Singer/Songwriter, Recording Artist, and Visual/Vocal Impersonator Jimmy James in his award-winning show, Hearing is Believing.

Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin previously announced the opening Woody Guthrie's American Song, an exuberant musical celebration of America, running evenings at 8 p.m. tonight, July 29, and August 1, 4 - 8 and matinees at 2 p.m. on August 1 & 8, 2015.

Seven of Australia's Diva's come together for a very special one-off event at The Sydney Opera House to pay tribute to the late Billie Holiday, otherwise known as 'Lady Day'. The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation announced today that 41 organizations in its New York Theater Program will receive grants totaling $4.1 million. Ranging from $10,000 to $160,000, the grants will be used toward operating support over the next two years.
