After spending the last several decades blowing the minds of individuals and audiences around the world, David Blaine – the world's most iconic magician and stunt artist – will present his new show “David Blaine: IMPOSSIBLE” exclusively at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas with a sure-to-be unforgettable debut this New Year's Eve Weekend.

It is the first album that the Bali, Indonesia-born pianist, composer and bandleader has recorded with his regular touring trio of Kris Funn on upright bass and John Davis on drums, a group with whom he has played hundreds of gigs over the past four years. They are augmented on four tracks by GRAMMY-nominated trumpet player Theo Croker.

IL DIVO, the world’s leading classical crossover group, will make their long-awaited return to Australian stages, performing shows in 4 cities in October and November, 2023. These shows will mark the first performances by IL DIVO in this country since the tragic passing of Carlos Marín in 2021.

New York Women in Film & Television will present the Loreen Arbus Disability Awareness Grant to award-winning writer, director, and producer Ravit Markus of New Love Films for her documentary feature Nina.

1994, I was crazy in love with Sally Murphy.  She was starring in the Lincoln Center theater import of Nicholas Hytner’s National Theater production of Carousel.  I got a friend who works at Lincoln Center to give me a tour backstage, in hope of “running into” Sally.   Long story short, I got lost and had to ask for directions.  The young lady whom I asked was charming and sweet and she said: “Are you sure you’re allowed back here?” That was my first encounter with Audra McDonald.  Later that day, I saw her on stage as Carrie in the show.  She was wonderful – won her first Tony in the role.  So it was really a treat on Saturday night at Caramoor’s opening gala concert, when she sang “When I Marry Mr. Snow.”  It brought back all sorts of wonderful memories of the myriad of characters and performances I’ve seen/heard Audra do in the last (hard to believe) 30 years.

MICHAEL J. BENJAMIN has unveiled an acoustic version of “The Same Again”, ahead of his debut EP. Produced by Jon McMullen (Wet Leg, Michael Kiwanuka) at his London studio, “The Same Again (Acoustic) makes for a wistful country-blues record that feels simultaneously nostalgic and refreshing; true to a style that Benjamin is quickly making his own.

An event ten years in the making!  Hub Theatre Company of Boston will conclude the celebration of its 10th anniversary season with the revival of Nora and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss and What I Wore, directed by local favorite Paula Plum.  The show will run at Club Café, 209 Columbus Ave. in Boston's Back Bay, from Saturday, July 22, through Saturday, August 5, 2023 with performances on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2:00 pm and a Saturday matinee on August 5 at 2:00 pm. 

A radiant, reflective ballad that sees the young musician pair distinctive Cash-meets-Cohen vocals with his knack for heart-rending storytelling, the new track was produced by Jon McMullen (Wet Leg, Michael Kiwanuka) in London. A song that finds the singer-songwriter rewinding sepia-tinted memories of his past.

The Queen of Bitcoin: The Rise and Fall, written, performed and produced by Margaux Avedisian will take the stage at Asylum at Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre, on the mainstage(5636 Melrose Avenue, Hollywood, CA 90038) as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
