The Broadway community recently came together for the fourth annual “Live in the Orange” photoshoot in support of arts education programming in NYC public schools. Featuring stunning portraits by Michael Hull Photography and coordinated by Broadway for Arts Education, Broadway Plus, and the Museum of Broadway, these incredible Broadway performers and organizations teamed up with the Arts in Education Round Table’s “It Starts With The Arts” campaign to amplify their advocacy!

Next month, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below is a non-profit organization with a mission to preserve and expand the art of the cabaret, honor the music of Broadway, and provide an unparalleled experience to diverse communities.

Richard H. Blake was scheduled to play his club act at The Green Room 42 before the pandemic. Finally, he fans, friends, and family got to see his dream realized... and it's really good.

MedWish International will host Music for Medwish, a LIVE-STREAMED event featuring some of Broadway's top artists performing from their own homes Thursday, April 9 at 8 p.m. (EST), to benefit work in support of health care workers at the front-lines of the COVID-19 outbreak. Medwish International hosts Music for Medwish an intimate evening featuring some of Broadway's best in Los Angeles on Monday, April 15th at 8pm at the Rockwell Table and Stage (1714 N Vermont Ave). Produced by Broadway actress and producer Betsy Werbel (Wicked) the event raises funds for Medwish, a not-for-profit organization that repurposes discarded medical supplies and equipment to provide humanitarian aid around the world saving lives - and the environment.

The Broadway community will come together on Monday, May 14 at NYC's Stage 48 for Heels on Wheels, A Homecoming Celebration to Benefit Jerad Bortz and Steven Skeels, to support Wicked's Bortz and husband Skeels following a tragic car accident in early February.

Join some of Broadway and TV's finest on Monday, November 21st at 7:30pm at The Cutting Room for the second performance of a new concert series created to help raise awareness and money for the children of the Shanti Bhavan Children's Project, produced by Kate Pfaffl (War Horse) and Ben Houghton (American Ballet Theater), with special guest host Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde).

 The third annual New York New Work Theatre Festival at the Times Square Arts Centre (300 West 43rd Street) announced today the 2016 finalists including Flesh & Spirit, Most Likely To, Palin Live, Trashman's Dilemma, World Without End and The Love Junkie. Each show will be presented at the Gala, tonight, October 5th, at 7:00 PM when the winner of the Festival will be selected.

The third annual New York New Work Theatre Festival at the Times Square Arts Centre (300 West 43rd Street) kicks off the Semifinals on Monday, September 19 with Starmites, the Six-Time Tony-Nominated Musical and continues with shows featuring some of the cast members of Wicked, Finding Neverland and Jersey Boys.

As part of the New York New Works Theatre Festival, Jenny DiNoia - who is currently starring as Elphaba on Broadway's Wicked - takes center stage in an original musical production, 'Flesh and Spirit', alongside Jonathan Ritter ('Finding Neverland'), Richard H. Blake ('Jersey Boys'), Betsy Werbel ('Wicked') Brandon Leffler ('Wicked', 'Trip of Love'), Jeffrey Sousa ('An American In Paris'). The creative team includes Steven Skeels (book, music and lyrics) who was the original star of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Starlight Express'.

IMAGINE: A Celebration of Love, a benefit concert to raise funds to benefit Cancer Research through the Brian Werbel Memorial Fund at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, will take place on Monday, June 13th at 8:00 pm City Winery (155 Varick St.).  All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Brian Werbel Memorial Fund. Five-time Emmy Award nominee Jesse Tyler Ferguson ('Modern Family,' The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) makes his highly anticipated return to Broadway as nearly 40 outrageous characters in the smash hit comedy, FULLY COMMITTED by Becky Mode, directed by Tony nominee Jason Moore (Avenue Q, Pitch Perfect, Sisters). FULLY COMMITTED began performances on April 1 and just opened last night, April 25, 2016 on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre.
