Nickelodeon and Broadway Across America bring Storytime Live! to the Citi Performing Arts CenterSM Wang Theatre in Boston this spring, playing 6 performances on Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23. Pioneer Theatre Company announces local auditions for their productions of both HAMLET and DRACULA. Auditions for both shows will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Callbacks are scheduled for Friday, May 21, 2010. Exact callback times will be announced to auditioners.

During a recent interview with the LA Times, Kristen Chenoweth, star of the Broadway musical PROMISES, PROMISES, that she was initially tepid to take on the role, since the majority of the roles in her past were strictly comedy.

Previews will begin on Sunday, March 28th, 2010 with an opening night slated for Sunday, April 25th, 2010. The musical is written by legends Neil Simon (book), Burt Bacharach (music), and Hal David (lyrics). Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes will make his Broadway debut starring in the role of Chuck Baxter opposite Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, returning to Broadway as Fran Kubelik. Tony and Emmy Award winner Rob Ashford will also make his Broadway directorial debut and choreograph. More casting and creative team members will be announced in the near future.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned that the 101 DALMATIONS MUSICAL Tour that has been making its way cross country will close after it's Madison Square Garden engagement on April 18, 2010.
