The Flat Rock Playhouse 2017 season continues with the stage play turned cult-classic film, Amadeus. This larger-than-life production stars Nat Zegree (Jerry Lee Lewis of last year's hit Million Dollar Quartet) as one of the original bad boys of popular music, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Amadeus runs September 15th through the 30th at the Clyde and Nina Allen Mainstage in the Village of Flat Rock, NC.

Flat Rock Playhouse and Executive Producer, Pardee Hospital will kick off the holiday season with the Charles Dickens' classic tale, A Christmas Carol on the Clyde and Nina Allen Mainstage beginning tonight, November 20th and running through December 21st.

The perennial favorite literally comes to life on the stage in a spectacular new production featuring all the classic elements with a few new twists. It tells the story of bitter old miser Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation resulting from supernatural visits by Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. The industrial setting of 19th century England gives way to a story filled with hope and joy with original songs and amazing puppetry. All the well-known characters retell the magical and uplifting story from "Bah! Humbug!" to "God bless us, everyone!"

Muse Match, an evening that seeks to answer the question, 'What happens when 15 composers go on a blind date with 15 singers?,' will be presented tonight, June 12th, 2014, at 11:30 PM at 54 Below. Produced by Bill Coyne, the evening will benefit ZARA AINA, a charity that brings theater and education to at-risk youth In Madagascar; founded by actors Bryce Pinkham and Lucas Caleb Rooney.

Graham Bailey, Tony Castellanos, Ashley Klanac, Rob Lorey, Megan Meyer, Molly Pope, Jeannie Schubitz, and Jacob L. Newcomer Nikki Bohne will star in a new tour of the Tony-nominated LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL launching today in Jackson, Mississippi. Bohne, a recent graduate of Brigham Young University, will play the role originated in the film by Reese Witherspoon, and onstage by Tony nomiee Laura Bell Bundy. Bohne's regional credits include Aida (Amneris) and West Side Story (Anybodys) both at the Hale Center Theatre, Footloose (Rusty) and Annie Get Your Gun (Annie), both at the Playmill Theatre.
