The Other Songs has announced an all-star line-up of songwriters and artists to perform at The Other Songs Live including Bernie Taupin, Tom Odell, Gabriels, Celeste, KAMILLE and many more. In partnership with the Ivors Academy, one of the world's biggest celebrations of songwriting will take place ahead of The Ivors with Amazon Music at the London Palladium on Monday 20 May, raising money for music charities.
Ken Burns's LEONARDO DA VINCI Documentary is Coming to PBS

The film, which explores the life and work of the 15th century artist Leonardo da Vinci, is Burns's first non-American subject. It also marks a significant change in the team's filmmaking style, which includes using split screens with images, video and sound from different periods to further contextualize Leonardo's art and scientific explorations.

Elton John Achieves EGOT Status With Emmy Win

Elton John is now an EGOT. He won a Tony Award in 2000 for Best Original Score for Aida with Tim Rice. He was awarded with his first Oscar in 1995 for 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' from the Lion King. Other EGOT winners include Viola Davis, Whoopi Goldberg, Marvin Hamlisch, Helen Hayes, Alan Menken, Rita Moreno, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and more.
