TROIKA Entertainment, LLC has announced that the national tour of the quintessential backstage musical comedy classic 42nd STREET has launched on September 22, 2015 at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City, UT. This sparkling new production is directed by co-author Mark Bramble and choreographed by Randy Skinner, the team who staged the 2001 Tony Award winning Best Revival.  Check out a first look at highlights of the tour below!

The new national tour of 42ND STREET, originating at the Capitol Theatre before beginning its tour route across the country, presents a dynamic, fresh-faced cast tapping its way through a visually striking production.

Nominees for the 2015 LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Awards were announced on Thursday, September 24 on @ This Stage Magazine [ThisStage.la]. This year's Ovation Awards ceremony will take place Monday, November 9 at the Ahmanson Theatre at The Music Center. The curtain will rise at7:30pm.

Producer Kevin McCollum has announced that his Tony Award-nominated comedy Hand to God will offer special $55 orchestra and $45 mezzanine pricing and also double the number of $27 rush tickets available to the Thursday 9/24 and Friday 9/25 performances only in honor of the Pope's visit to New York City.  The $55 and $45 tickets are available at the box office simply by saying the phrase "Hand to Pope"; and can also be purchased online at www.HandToGodBroadway.com using code H2GPOPE266 or by phone at 212-239-6200.  Rush tickets are available at the box office only on the day of the performance and are subject to availability.  Hand to God plays at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street) through January 3, 2016 before immediately transferring to London's West End, with performances beginning on February 5, 2016 at the famed Vaudeville Theatre. 

Therese Raquin will begin preview performances on Thursday, October 1, 2015, and open officially on Thursday, October 29, 2015 on Broadway at Studio 54. BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the cast in rehearsal below!

The Broadway adaptation of Therese Raquin will star Academy and Golden Globe nominee Keira Knightley (Therese) making her Broadway debut alongside Tony award winner Gabriel Ebert (Camille), Matt Ryan(Laurent) and two-time Tony award winner Judith Light (Madame Raquin). This adaptation of Therese Raquin is written by Helen Edmundson, based upon the novel by Emile Zola, directed by Evan Cabnet. The full cast will also include David Patrick Kelly, Jeff Still, Mary Wiseman, Glynis Bell, Alex Mickiewicz, Sara Topham, Ray Virta.

Performing Arts Fort Worth is delighted to announce that the national tour of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, is coming to Bass Performance Hall Sept. 18-20. Tickets start at $55 and will go on sale Today, April 3.

Brooklyn's newly restored Kings Theatre (1027 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY) will present the all-new U.S. tour of the beloved musical Annie in a limited 16 performance only engagement at the venue this holiday season, December 15 - 27, 2015. The Tony Award nominated revival of On The Town concludes its run on Broadway tonight, September 6, following 28 previews and 368 regular performances, making this the longest-running Broadway production of the show since the 1944 original. ON THE TOWN began previews on September 20, 2014 and officially opened on October 16, 2014 at the Lyric Theatre. On the heels of being named the first female African-American principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre, Misty Copeland joined the cast of Broadway's ON THE TOWN on Tuesday, Augst 25th in the role of 'Ivy'. Copeland will be performing through September 6. The Umeda Arts Theater world premiere production of Prince of Broadway will begin rehearsals on Thursday, September 3 in New York City. 

As previously reported, the World Premiere of PRINCE OF BROADWAY, a new musical celebrating the extraordinary six decade Broadway career of producer-director Harold Prince, will play from October 23-November 22, 2015 at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo, Japan and November 28-December 10, 2015 at Umeda Arts Theater, Main Hall, in Osaka, Japan.
