Roundabout Theatre Company announces that the new Broadway production of the musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate, starring Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara, will begin preview performances on Thursday, February 14, 2019 and open officially on Thursday, March 14, 2019. This is a limited engagement through Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Studio 54.

Rehearsals are in full swing for The 5th Avenue Theatre's production of Kiss Me, Kate, which begins performances next Friday, April 6.

Robert Hastie today announces Sheffield Theatres' new season, his third as Artistic Director. The season brings another brand new British musical to the Crucible stage, presenting world premieres of bold and political new plays, and the celebrated Christmas musical at the Crucible Theatre.

Artistic Director Ray Jivoff unveiled Skylight Music Theatre's 2018-19 Season line-up of "firsts" -- five shows that have never been produced at Skylight.  "We are thrilled to announce this exciting season of well-known and well-loved shows that have not been produced by Skylight before," said Jivoff. "These are blockbuster titles that perfectly capture Skylight's mission of presenting the full spectrum of music theatre, from musicals to revues to classical repertoire. Broadway is going to get hot in 2019. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) just announced a new Broadway production of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate starring Kelli O'Hara in the hilarious duo leading roles of Kate and Lilli Vanessi.

Roundabout's Associate Artistic Director, Scott Ellis, directed this special event.
