Full Cast Announced For THE CLAIM At Shoreditch Town Hall

The full cast is today announced for the return of Tim Cowbury's The Claim at Shoreditch Town Hall following its debut sell-out run in 2018. Mark Maughan directs Nick Blakeley (A), Tonderai Munyevu (Serge) and Indra Ové (B). The production opens on 20 February, with previews from 18 February and runs until 7 March.

In addition to the previously announced world premières of Milky Peaks and For The Grace of You Go I, Tamara Harvey and Liam Evans-Ford, Artistic Director and Executive Director of Theatr Clwyd today announce further programming for their 2020 season, which will include a major revival of Steve Waters' The Contingency Plan a?" in a co-production with the Donmar Warehouse, the world première of Project Hush, and Beauty and the Beast, the company's twenty-third annual rock 'n' roll pantomime, which sees Harvey make her pantomime directorial debut. The company today also announces the full cast and tour dates for Seiriol Davies' Milky Peaks.

Artistic Director Kumiko Mendl celebrates 25 years of Yellow Earth Theatre; the company dedicated to developing and staging work by British East Asian* (BEA) theatre makers. Named after the seminal Chinese film of the same title, the company launched in 1995 to widen the type of roles being offered to BEA actors, writers, directors and designers, with the aim to create fresh and vibrant work that reflects the BEA experience.

Casting Announced For Workshop Of New British Musical THE THROWAWAYS

Lambert Jackson Productions today announce the full cast for the workshop performance of Dylan Wynford's new musical The Throwaways. The performance will star Lizzie Bea (Commentator 2), Francesca Forristal (Peggy), Michael Hamway (Hitchcock), Sahera Khan (Charlie), Andrew Langtree (Danny), Siobhan O'Driscoll (Meghan), Lawrence Smith (Commentator 1), and Courtney Stapleton (Audrey). The workshop performance will take place at The Other Palace, Friday 31st January, 2pm.

ViSiBLE today announces the world première of Five Characters in Search of a Good Night's Sleep devised by Mike Alfreds and Sonja Linden with the Company, the latter who also directs. Inspired by the wealth of talent among Britain's older actors, ViSiBLE is a theatre company dedicated to creating work that throws fresh perspectives on later life and living longer. The production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 29 April and runs until 23 May.

Sir James MacMillan's festival, The Cumnock Tryst, has won a prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society Award in the Concert Series and Events category! The prize was presented at an awards ceremony at London's Battersea Arts Centre last night and recognised the Tryst's success in shining a light on local musicians as equals to its international visiting artists.
