The Balancing Act, the award-winning morning show on the Lifetime Channel, has announced that it has begun shooting the third season of its six-part series, Broadway Balances America, sponsored by Broadway Across America. The series will launch August 8, 2016.

Theater professionals from across Michigan will gather Aug. 29 when The 2016 Wilde Awards are presented at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts in the Detroit suburb of West Bloomfield. Gideon Glick, Zoe Winters & More to Lead World Premiere of LCT3's THE HARVEST

LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater will open its 2016-2017 season with the world premiere of THE HARVEST, by Samuel D. Hunter, directed by Davis McCallum. THE HARVEST, whose cast will feature Gideon Glick, Scott Jaeck, Leah Karpel, Madeleine Martin, Peter Mark Kendall, Christopher Sears, and Zoe Winters, will begin performances Saturday, October 8th, and run for six weeks only through Sunday, November 20th at the Claire Tow Theater. Opening Night is Monday, October 24th.

On Monday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Don't Tell Mama, several young past and present performers from Broadway joined forces in a benefit cabaret to raise money and show support for the victims, survivors and those suffering as a result of the mass shooting in Orlando this month. The benefit was entitled Broadway Kids for Orlando: All You Need is Love. One hundred percent of the proceeds are being donated to the GLBT Center of Central Florida, and all 49 victims of The Pulse Nightclub shooting were honored in the program. "When I called to do this job, I was shocked and terrified at first. It's such an iconic part," confides actress Kate Fahrner, who makes a double debut in Evita at Maine State Music Theatre on June 29, 2016. The three-week run marks the young and talented Broadway star's role debut as the mesmerizing Eva Peron, as well as her first MSMT appearance. And if this weren't enough of a challenge, she adds, she has a number of other exciting things happening in her life right now as well - foremost among them a one-year old daughter, who (with the help of family) has accompanied her to Maine for rehearsals.
